The aim of this book consists of providing further information about certain aspects, traits, interests, needs and in short, all problems concerning the gifted from different points of view.
Such a view is given by different professionals and scholars from the field of education, psychology, pedagogy,... who kindly contributed their experience and knowledge. Some contributors were working with gifted children and youth and researching on topics of giftedness, and others were dealing with areas or subjects closely connected with the child's abilities and capacity, whom this volume is focussed on.
Yolanda Benito, author and coordinator of this book, tries to give a global view of the gifted child's special educational needs.
