Thank you very much for visiting our website. When designing our homepage, our main purpose aimed to provide all our visitors with a scientific and truthful information on intellectual giftedness, far from any possible stereotyped myth. We also intended to show as clear as possible both the work and tasks developed in our Center and the activities offered in its programs. But the most important thing is to state the essential motivation on which our activity is based:

The topic of why gifted children's needs should be met through a special education has been widely and deeply discussed; some people think that their special education is required since they mean the opportunity to improve our world, others say that unless they are provided with an appropriate education they will suffer school motivation problems, underachievement or emotional disorders. We do not agree with the opinion that their special education is required to support human progress nor to avoid certain problems or disorders, we think that their special needs and features should be met because they learn in a different and faster way than other children and if the education their potential and capacities require are denied, they will not be given the opportunity to develop themselves as optimum as possible which should be the fundamental principle of the education. The question is not to create exceptional adults, but happy children.

The basic goal of education is to meet children's special needs within the diversity of school population. Every child has the right of having the opportunity to achieve their potential to the upmost.
